• Google is now indexing audio files. Next: indexing the ambient sound of interstellar space. Speaking of Google, the Internet giant's mapping service now includes Street View for mobile devices.

• In the unlikely event that there's someone out there who wants to add more widgets to a MySpace or Facebook profile, there's RockYou.com.

• Wannabe artists can use the iPhone app Gesture to make impressionistic paintings on the fly.

MashedLife.com promises to help users organize all of their Web 2.0 profiles and accounts.
